- use your information to maintain a record of learner history including their name, username, password, and the details of the courses they complete e.g. date, completion score, attempts, etc.·

If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you. If you are a new customer, we may contact you by email, post, or telephone if you have consented to this. If you do not want us to use your data in this way for marketing purposes, please do not ‘opt-in’ on data capture forms or contact us via support@cobidu.co.uk to cease contact;·

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The data that we collect from you on our website (cobidu.co.uk and cobidu.com) may be transferred to and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our hosted server suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the processing of your facilities management status, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. Data stored within our learning management system (mycobidu.com) is specifically held within our Moodle platform which is hosted exclusively by UKFAST and is held on UK servers only. This data is securely held and protected by appropriate firewalls and IT security architecture. Data stored here and relating to the learner is never shared with 3rd parties.
By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing, or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access. In the event of a Data Breach, we will ensure you are contacted at the earliest convenience and will abide by our own Data Breach Policy.
Data you have stored within the COBIDU Learning LMS will be stored for no longer than 12 months post termination of your contract. After this date, your account and data will be erased.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. Data will only be used if you have opted in or consented to contact either by checking certain boxes on our data capture forms or by obvious verbal consent. You will be able to unsubscribe from any marketing communications at any time and this will be exercised immediately. This can be performed by clicking the unsubscribe button on an email campaign or by contacting us directly. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us at support@cobidu.co.uk.
Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers, and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. ACCESS TO INFORMATION
The Act and GDPR legislation give you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act and GDPR. In accordance with legislation, you are able to request access to all personal data held about you by COBIDU DISTANCE LEARNING SOLUTIONS LTD, request that it be transferred to you, or request that it be permanently erased. We will ensure any of the above is performed (upon written request only) within a reasonable time period.
